Our Story

From one family's journey to a movement

Lucy Antione and her son Dylan Dufour are a Brooklyn-based mother-and-son team who have turned their personal experience navigating special education into a mission of community impact.

Dylan was diagnosed early and placed in the ASD Nest program, where Lucy became a fierce advocate — learning the system from the inside while raising a child who would go on to earn the title of valedictorian twice and rank among the top graduates at Brooklyn Technical High School, one of NYC's most selective specialized schools. Together they speak, teach, and advocate so that other families don't have to navigate the system alone.

"We built The Dynamic Duo because we lived it — and we know what it means when a family finally feels seen."
— Lucy Antione, Co-Founder & Executive Director
